Shallex yeah but I get what he’s saying. The drums and everything’s frequencies kinda drown out the lower bass parts. That’s why I just have people edit the track and make the bass louder. Sounds cleaner in the end

Silent? Not really. Even the guitars have a really good low-end. James' and Kirk's playing in this song is also great. Putting bass in this song is just bit more gain. The only time this song relies on the bass is in some parts of the interlude. The "bass solos" can be just on guitar and it will still sound good. Don't worry, I know the purpose of bass. So. after their bassist Burton died and muting the bass on album AJFA, they realized...so they gained a lot in their self-titled album. Their sound there was amazing; the guitars tones, clean loud bass, drum snare, etc. Many didn't realize because it wasn't like early Metallica.
