Metallica - Please Don't Judas Me (Live in San Francisco, December 5th, 2011)

Metallica perform an unplugged cover of Nazareth's "Please Don't Judas Me". Nazareth originally recorded the song for their 1975 album "Hair of the Dog" and Metallica later covered it at Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit. This version was recorded live @ The Fillmore in San Francisco, California on December 5th, 2011 (the first of four Metallica 30th birthday concerts).

I grew up with songs from this era, my first album stolen from my dad I'd listen to it for hours because it was the most sublime sound I'd ever heard. This cover destroys the song. There will never be another Nazareth.

Other than that, yeah, low on the scrodum pole of perfection. But its' just a jam right? How many of you musicians have jams, and pull tunes out of ye ole rumpus, and they sound like a hot bag of ass, but everyone still has fun? Hey, the video I watched before this one was Frank Zappa in concert with special guest John Lennon and Yoko Ono, which would have been cool without her, however.....well, let's just say it makes this a pleasure to listen to compared to that.
