I love the new Vulture james has.. That Black guitar with the 72 season ralley stripe looks sooo good. Also the fact that James and Lars has honored the Album color onto their instruments :D

Dude I was there… it was an amazing night, the atmosphere was electric. When their opening tape started and they performed Orion… well I’ve never felt a feeling like that in my life. I posted all my footage on that night, I haven’t even gone back to watch that footage on here yet hahaha

Lars’ kit on the st anger tour was green, then it was orange for the death magnetic tour, purple for the hardwired tour and obviously yellow for the 72 seasons tour.

The purple kit was exclusively for the Hardwired tour. The deehan thing he used the metallic gray kit, while for the tour the orange kit from death magnetic

Lars has a different kit for every album, bar reload. Purple since hardwired. Before that Orange Magnetic for Death Magnetic and Green for St Anger, sparkle for Load and so on

I don't think most MetallicA fans care about this. But does anyone think that MetallicA will finally get to do a Super Bowl halftime show before they retire? I don't even think the guys care if they get invited to do the SB halftime show, we'll James might, since he is a big football guy, especially when the Oakland Raiders were still in California. Idk, just thought I'd see if anyone thinks they will, won't, or just don't give a fudge 😂.

It would be amazing if they did get to do that (and deservedly so). I'm not into NFL at all, but I know that the SB halftime show is a very big deal and is one of the biggest audience one can perform to. I'd definitely watch the SB just to see them :D

@@down_the_vinyl_path Plus, the next 10 years of NFL fans will be basically the middle age of their fanbase during this time. And this day n' age MetallicA fans are of the age range around 80 and fans that are around 10, thanks to their MetallicA fanatic grandparents, and they fanatic parents lol. In 1983-1989, MetallicA didn't have that big of a fan age variety. They began as the "Satanic panic" of the late 70's - early 80's. So they've come along way, as well as Metal music in general. So the fans of football and MetallicA would go crazy! And it wouldn't surprise me if it became one of the most watched super bowl halftime shows ever. I am a sports enthusiast, but I love my band. And it would really become a life for the ages if those 4 (🤞Me hoping they invite Jason Newsted to play along side Rob, James, Lars, and Kirk. That dude helped them get to where they are, and he took alot of shit from James and Lars. Anyway, thanks for the reply! At least I got one person to answer lol. Thanks!

@@MetallicAAlabamA 100% facts on the age range of fans nowadays. From what we saw at Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago the range was very broad indeed, and a very diverse crowd too which was great to see. I feel you about Newsted, wouldn't that be just an awesome thing to see! Considering the SB date next year is on Feb 11, and the M72 tour resuming May 24th, who knows if the SB halftime is a possibility... I'd never even thought about it but will now wait with bated breath to see if it happens.

It sucked I had to miss this, especially as this was like a 2,5 hour drive from where I live. Hopefully I get to go the next time they're in the country. I do hope they pick a better venue next time. The acoustics in that stadium suck!

@@locsbcn Ι know, been there, after some hearings of the whole album I was stuck with the same feeling only for the last 4 songs, however considering you liked those I bet if you give some time and some space in your head for the boys to show you what they have to offer now there's a good possibility you'll appreciate more stuff with time. Shadows Follow, 72 Seasons, Chasing Light, Sleepwalk.. and others deserve some more chances imho. Cheers
