I've been watching him perform for 19 years now and it still blows my mind every time how he's able to sing while playing these intense riffs extremely precisely. During most of the chord changes he's not even looking at his left hand. In terms of the look you guys said it all. In my opinion he is THE best frontman of any musical act past present and future. It’s going to be my first live concert in over six years. I’m really excited, and it speaks volumes, because I have already forgotten how it feels to be excited about something I plan to do alone due to my chronic depression. Thanks to Metallica, I now have a reason to stay here at least for another two weeks.

Still the quitar tone and Lars's drum sound were better 30years ago. I have to say IMHO that their best live sound was during Load and Reload '95-'97, and then after Garage Inc. '98-'99.
