I was in 7th grade when And Justice for All came out. I skipped school and rode my bike to the mall to buy it. There was a line of ppl waiting for this. I remember the employees at Camelot Music has 3 big boxes up front asking ppl if they wanted Record, cassette tape, or cd. They couldn't hand them out fast enough. Such a long awaited album we were all waiting for. First one without Cliff Burton. But it totally lived up to the hype behind it.

+Kevin Lupo I'm so jealous of people like you who actually lived through the golden ages of rock and metal music. Yes i can still listen to the music at this age , but i would love to skip school to headbang with my fellow bangers back in the 80s / 90s...

+Olcay Alp Bayram It was a truly fantastic time for music. Record stores were awesome. You could spend hours in one and have it feel like 5 min. So many bands that aren't around anymore. When an album came out you heard the songs for the first time. There was no internet were music was leaked or the band put out out a early song. And MTV actually played music. It was a great time the 80's.

Me and my friends were skateboarding behind TOWER RECORDS in Seattle and as soon as they opened up we all ran in and bought a tape and immediately went behind the store and put it in this yellow Sony boom box. I can still remember blackened coming on with that intro that is the coolest intro ever then that riff and the drums me my best friend Shawn, Jeremy, Keenan and Eloy all were blown away by the tone the timing of the songs the lyrics and of course the riffs and solos. We grew up with Metallica every album has a different tone and mood and all are masterpieces. We were the fans that were really let down by load it sucked to us it was weak and simple and they had a whole knew fan base we hated. Those new fans used to mock Metallica and now they're going down in the moshpits.
