I don't mean to sound so macabre, I mean let's hope he lives another strong 40 years but we're all dying right? Just at different stages approaching it. It sounds more like a kick than a snare
@c.wdervin59874 жыл бұрын
Vander's Garage lol agreed but u do realize Lars picked that snare sound on purpose. He’s bored and he’s artistic. He keeps trying new things with the rest of Metallica. Best example was and justice for all. It was a total accident that made that album sound so unique and special u don’t hear it on any other record. They killed the bass and made it absolutely flat. So the snare on st anger was an empty trash can but unique. It kinda grew on me to be honest. But overall their last true great album was load and reload. Everything after that starting with st anger was too repetitive and not good.
@vandersgarage46824 жыл бұрын
@@c.wdervin5987 I can understand wanting to experiment. But there comes a point where you listen to the playback in studio and just go " Wow, my snare sounds like total shit, guess I will try something different". @c.wdervin59874 жыл бұрын
Vander's Garage and that’s y I said st anger was crappy. Sound is one thing but the song writing for me is what makes a band good or shitty. Unfortunately Metallica lost that song writing magic. They’re only human after all. But still we can’t forget the amazing music they’ve given us in a row all the way from kill em all to reload. They are the Beatles of metal, and that’s no easy title to achieve.

I mean, Metallica is the biggest band in the history of planet earth, but Can you close your eyes and just for a moment truly imagine how much bigger and better they would have been had Cliff been writing the songs all this time. I remember the day he died. I was 13 years old. I was so sad I could barely celebrate my Birthday the following day. It was just terrible.
@stonetemplepilots31304 жыл бұрын
Not to disrespect Cliff, but I feel like if he was still in the band Metallica would not be as big as they are today. I could be wrong, but Cliff was too much of a purist and too experimental to do anything like the Black album, which is what blew Metallica to mainstream. If Cliff was still in the band, they would be an incredible band, and the new songs I can’t imagine how awesome they’d be... But I think Metallica would be a very different band and not as big as they are today.

Hoping these guys get signed to a big label soon. They are way more talented than most of the so called "pop artists" today and deserve the recognition.

This is my favorite Metallica song that tells the tragic story of Metallica : the rise of Metallica is the build up in the beginning the clean part and solo is when cliff died then the rise again to continue the journey I love this song so much and you guys did an amazing job never stop playing \m/
