@@bobthebear1246 The crazy thing is the first time l saw Metallica they was opening for Iron Maiden. They were super young and OMG fast. Cliff and his hair looked crazy flying everywhere. Both bands kicked ass that night. What's mind blowing now is the ticket was $12.00.

I always think of Metallica's music as a modern classical on speed. You take out the singing, replace the instruments with classical instruments from an orchestra, slow the beat a little bit (although not necessary) and you get actual classical music. They're our metal Mozarts.
@spawn45823 ай бұрын
It was powerful, as always with Metallica, a legendary band, they don't have bad songs, they have less popular ones, but no bad songs. Great guys.

@tomscholtes50823 ай бұрын
@@shanedobiesz6993Na they have some great stuff after the black album. It's just different. And Metallica stands for variety. Every Album is different (even in the 80s). Load/Reload have some great songs, Death Magnetic has a lot of good ones, Hardwired is okay and the new album is also okay. Even St. Anger is great live. There not like the 80s but they are not bad at all

Metallica's songs don't age but you know which metal band's songs do not age as well? From Iron Maiden. I know you've reacted to a couple of their tracks but you're missing out if you haven't heard the album version of Alexander the Great (Somewhere in Time album). ;) One of the pinnacles of musical arrangements when it comes to metal. If you'd like to listen to a mellow song from Maiden then try Strange World (first album) where there was no Bruce yet. ;)

Never heard this before. My knowledge of Metallica is Black album and beyond and what you have brought to the channel. My neighbor listened to them and had this album and when I was a kid he'd say this is Devil Music and it scared me. Then I watched Behind the Music and got to see them behind the scenes and I changed my tune on them. I love them! This song was a vibe until the solo. That solo and ending was great! James sounded so young. Wasn't this Cliff's last album? 😢 Great job bringing this!

Lars was good, but injured himself a lot. And Justice for All almost destroyed him. Sadly, that was the bad snare sound album. He simplified his playing after that. This was back when James would only let Kirk solo. James would play all of the rhythm guitar parts. The Black Album was his first rhythm guitar contribution outside of the basically live in the studio Garage Days Revisited and Re-revisited eos. When Jason joined, he added backing vocals. In the Some Kind of Monster DVD, you see Lars add a screamed, "FUCK!"
