@@timjaeger6589 Metallica's best live years were in the 90's. As for studio. Both 80's and 90's. Every album has its place. Some performances from the first S and M are among Metallica's heaviest live stuff. Ever. "One", "Battery". I also love the Cunning Stunts video, during the Load Tour. "Until it Sleeps" was a beast played live, for example. If that isn't fire and fury to you... I don't know how S and M 2 is. But... to each his own.

I went to go see this at the Marq-E in Houston it was a packed theater and when they started the concert with 'The Call of Ktulu' I instinctively thought 'OK, they're gonna use this to lead in to Master of Puppets like the original S&M.' when they transitioned into Bells my eyes lit up and that whole show I was headbanging in my seat, it was a great experience and I can't wait for next week when it comes out. Long live Metallica.

It's just amazing to see how a bunch of kids from California with a dream got together in a garage, banged out some tunes, and ultimately launched themselves into music infamy. Absolutely unbelievable. Keep bashing fellas!

There is so much positive energy here, from the band to the symphony, to the crowd. It's a huge bonus that conductor Edwin Outwater really seems to "get" Metallica. The joy and happiness is bursting out everywhere. Lars' bits about the flags, not in this video, is another example. I urge everyone, who likes what the Metallica channel has uploaded, to get / watch the full concert. For all that has been uploaded, there are some gems that haven't been! I loved "The Memory Remains".

James is a paranoid egomaniac who pushed out Newsted and won't accept another bassist without them "knowing their place". I'm sure suppressing Rob's camera time was at least partially due to him. And Lars is no better.
