Everyone likes to point to one year that was Metallica's prime but in my opinion it was a span of 2 albums: Justice through end of Black. They were at their peak in the studio as well as out of the studio playing live. Every show since Justice has been tighter and tighter which I think peaked around 93ish-94. So you basically have from 88-94 as their peak.....in my opinion of course. That's just how I rated it.

I listened to this song a thousand of times, and I don’t know why, but this time, I almost cried while listened the last part… The unforgiven, to me, is the their best composition! Thank you Metallica! Thank you God!

“Lars has no sense of musicianship” I think he shows amazing musicianship here. His dynamics may not always be on point, but he does good at keeping the subtle intensity of the song while also dropping bombs here and there and his timing is pretty good too. It’s very in control.

New blood joins this earth And quickly he's subdued Through constant pain disgrace The young boy learns their rules With time the child draws in This whipping boy done wrong Deprived of all his thoughts The young man struggles on and on he's known Ooh, A vow unto his own That never from this day His will they'll take away What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be Never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven They dedicate their lives To running all of his He tries to please them all This bitter man he is Throughout his life the same He's battled constantly This fight he cannot win A tired man they see no longer cares The old man then prepares To die regretfully That old man here is me What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be Never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be Never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven You labeled me I labeled you So I dub thee unforgiven Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven You labeled me I labeled you So I dub thee unforgiven Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven

I'm proud that i was listen to TALLICA things before 21 years ago. Right now i realized that how much this band means life for me .. I'm speechless. James,I think his song means too much for you. Lars, the master..he used the best drum kit ever.even better the current days. Kirk..god of solos .i have no words to describe you.. Jason ..the ICON of metallica.. you made a big gap when you LEFT and no one can give base guitar spirit to metallica as you did.
