James’ voice is absolutely incredible, Lars is super tight in their recent shows, Kirk is pulling of insane solos, rob is still a beast and their sound engineer is doing a great job. Ladies and gentlemen this a new era of Metallica, be honoured to see it happen

I was fortunate enough to not be tainted by the critics before hearing this when the album was released. S&M is one of the greatest live performances out there and this song was and still is superb.

If u put emg jh set into your guitar of 500- 600€ (not necessarily 3000-4000€) ..and connect to his equipment (amps ,fx.....e.t.c) Then u will sound like him 95% if not 100% . Btw YES beautiful guitar the K.L.

There is a definite sound difference between active and passive pickups. I have an ESP with the het set pickups in it and it rocks as hard as anything out there. My Gibson LP just has a fuller sound and a certain magic about the passive pickups that I love!

Name a song that has so much great instrumental and great rock n roll rolled into one song. Everything about this song is a masterpiece. And I think this even though my favorite genre of music is rap and I was born in 86. But, my dad did influence Metallica. Even as a 6 year old innocent kid sitting in the back of his truck while he was blasting Metallica I knew it was 🔥 then.

This is by far the most interesting NLC-version, thanks to Kirks pinches during the first verse, and Lars holding back on the tam on the chorus and only hitting once on each tam. On SM2 he holds back a litle but then smashing on (like on NEM). And off course the vert sound of Greenie, but that kinda goes without saying.

one their best songs ever! and a great relief for me after the load phase. never had an issue with the change in sound but the songwriting on these 2 albums wasn´t that high standard anymore. but with no leaf clover they showed their class again !!! LOVE !!!
