Lifelong fans are the ones who grew up with Metallica, listened to them religiously for decades and got them through the rough times. They understand what is happening ya know? They live stream concerts fairly often…at least compared with other bands (S & M 2 was the most recent if memory serves). they use different platforms, not KZbin. And of course the Texas show form this tour as stated above.

Lars having to stop playing to catch his symbol from falling over and just getting right back into the song seamlessly was priceless. People shouldn’t be upset on how newcomers discover Metallica’s music. The band itself is of legendary status already. Whether you’ve been a fan since 1981, or a fan since you’ve discovered them through Fortnite. Who cares? At the end of the day. We’re enjoying Metallica’s music. What other band in history has created pretty much 4 generations of heavy metal fans? Being realistic, Metallica is at the tail end of their career and they are still on top We are witnessing history here. There will be no other band like them. We should be happy that they are reaching the younger generation. Thrash metal will continue to live on through them
