Metallurgy - found it tough in engineering, thanks ESA for making it simple & informative and sharing the key benefits of the research in Zero gravity.

I love ESA! I can see fantastic things happening in a couple of years.

You guys should also do a video about the formation of protein crystals in space for use in drug development.

THis is definitely interesting - metals in microgravity. This is why I'm glad UK didn't leave ESA and any worthwhile scientific collaboration.

I thought the ISS was falling with the same gravity as earth, but the earth is moving out of the way. Am I wrong?
@dougaltolan30173 жыл бұрын
Not wrong, it's just since it's falling with almost no resistance you won't feel it on-board.
@ncolas63293 жыл бұрын
Yes the Iss is subject to the earth gravity but just like a skydiver it is freefalling, (just sideway and really fast so it never hit the ground) and just like the skydiver it does not feels the acceleration of gravity (0g). In this video and pretty much everywhere when we talk about '' ''gravity'' we are talking about the acceleration of gravity, the force that we experience when our fall toward the center of the earth is interupt by something (the ground for exemple). Hope you've understand mate

Yes ! Windows XP is still one of the most reliable OS today. That's why so many laboratories and hospitals use it

I like how at the end the girl uses the word "might improve" as insurance to all the blubbering that went on before. Expensive research with "might improve" results. 😂 I wouldn't invest a single euro in such fantasy. Physics is physics and no amount of space laboratory will change that.
