I don't know if anyone realizes it or not but while this is a great song, this version sounds like it's been modified in the studio so that every instrument including Hansi's vocals have been tuned down a half step or so. I found a version of the demo that actually sounds really good as it sounds clearer and more natural despite the versions on the Battalions of Fear remaster and Memories of a Time to Come collection retaining this "unnatural" sound.

@ptola Oh, just noticed that this is Blind Guardian under a different name. They had a different sound before changing the name in my opinion. Later version of this song just sounds more polished.

@kolar999 I couldnt agree with you - I love them albums Night at the Opera and Nightfall in Middle-Earth too. Maybe the latest albums are lame but in these I see their individual style.
