Ma'am we use copper wire instead of silver wire because copper is cheaper than silver and not everyone can afford to use silver , that is why. But it's a fact :- SILVER IS THE BEST CONDUCTOR OF ELECTRICITY

we can check the presence of hydrogen because mam during the reaction of metals with acids we can see a gas burn with the pop sound and only i think hydrogen gas burns with pop sound .
