People always say "Gwar Came before both bands", now Gwar isn't safe cause now it's Gwar vs Lordi. It just never ends. Gwar vs Lordi, Mushroomhead vs Slipknot, Cradle of Filth vs Dimmu Borgir, Nighwish vs Within Temptation. I don't think Rivalries, weather it be the fans or bands, will ever end in Metal.

I saw Mushroomhead back in 2006. They put on a good show. I'm into more extreme metal but they are a nice breath of fresh air.

Shawn Crahan and others were discussing a future project in 1992, that would eventually be known as Slipknot. Nobody stole the mask thing. Besides, Paul Gray was wearing a pig mask before Pig Benis was even in the band (two different periods in 1995).

Ok ill comment on this shroom vs slipknot. Alright, both are great bands and i think the only reason that this argument started and goes on is because of that they both wear masks and their band numbers are similar. All that crap doesnt matter, its the music alright, and they both are grea.

slipknot copied mushroomhead, i love slipknots first 2 albums, the last one i thought was completly for commercial success, and was just metal "pop." Mushroomhead has been around way longer and they stay true to their music and do it for the love of the music, not for commerical success and money.
