This might be the best Atlus rpg ever. Vengeance combat is slightly better... but 20 hours in and the way they join smt press turn, classic fantasy, original ideas and the Persona time management/social elements has been fantastic. Story, combat, difficulty, characters, art direction, music and THE WORLD. All have exceeded expectations.

Between the demo and the 16 hours I have. Im 25ish hours deep and around level 30. I think im 1/3 through the game at this time. It's without a doubt not only Atlus's best game they've released, not only the best RPG (Not even going to add the J, this things beats all RPG's i've played so far too besides JRPG's), but best Voice Acting/Characters/Cut-scenes/Story. This game does not pull punches on the horrors and sadness that happens in the daily lives if this Fantasy world was as real as ours. Homelessness after disaster, Slavery, Racism between the 8 tribes, and Children dying I've seen in just those 25ish hours. Full Gas, No brakes.
