Amazing explanation to be honest! Well, I was wondering if you could explain why some words like Gloucester and Leicester are not writter as they are pronounced. So weird, but I think its kinda funny when I bump into some tourists mispronouncing them. Would you explain it to us? Thanks for the videos.

Thanks for your comment! It's very difficult to explain why place names are not written as they are pronounced because they are so old and have undergone many different changes. However, it is usually the result of different languages of origin (celtic, norse, french, old english etc) and the elision of sounds.
