All videogames and metaverses suffer from content slowdown, because content creation is difficult, time-consuming, and expensive. Once you've "seen what there is to see" the app competes with the staleness of reality, and de facto loses because a clunky headset isn't required for reality.

however in videogames if the game itself is fun than you will most likely find yourself coming back to it, either to practice some levels/difficulty, or maybe even just play for fun, i mean i have poured 400 hours into Battlefield 1 which is a great and fun game with actual soul (too bad that latest EA games including BF2042 are soulless jokes) and i also replay the FNAF games so much cause i love them and i do wanna get better at their custom nights (and i also play fangames quite alot) and i also grinded the fuck out of the Devil May Cry series cause i just love those games and i also really like practicing some of the levels/bosses etc... as long as you make a good enough/fun enough game then the "seen what there is to see" will take effect after VERRRRYYYY long and in that "VERRRRYYYY long" time the company can always add new stuff however that means that the game would have to have support forever which costs a huuuuuuuggggeee budget and is very challenging however one thing we can agree on, Facebook and their "metaverse" sucks, and they can all suck our dicks

While the actual world, planet Earth, burns, billions of dollars from one of the planet's richest sociopath capitalists will simply go to luring more young people into a virtual world. Good luck finding love or meaning in your life in there kids! Wil be, uh, interesting to see how the virtual holds up in 20 years, after the real one which makes the virtual one possible is ravaged by the climate disasters we're only getting a taste of today. remote work has to be solved. cities are expensive and non-inclusive. and u cannot setup offices in all the villages of the world. actually internet connected village is close to nature and close to work. for those people who are fortunate to work from home and as these high paying jobs move out of cities. cities will be affordable to blue collar and other services ppl as well.

I've been in Second Life for 13 years and the Metaverse does not compare at all. I would not be caught dead in a Meta avatar in Second Life, and it's graphics totally suck! Avatars with nothing below the waste are a total joke and a big turn off. The Metaverse is a very poor quality cartoon world with zero appeal for me and I'm not going to buy that stupid VR headset and walk around my house in it bumping into things. I've already heard of gang rapes and other sexual assaults in the Metaverse too, so it's already sunk to a very low level. I hope it crashes and burns right along with Facebook, which I ditched 12 years ago.

In my opinion he already is aware about all the points you stated. He also has a lot of capital and power to acquire a big video game studio/ company to build the metaverse.
