@@apollovacademy6066 Metamodernism or Postmodernism is the same; one is in Greek and the other is Latin... but people used the word Meta... for different things or as name. For Example; It means also; The end or the name of a woman. Metamorphosis... means beyond the shape and it is used for explaining that a structural change happens. Metaverse means beyond the Universe; but it is used for virtual reality, digital world or information in a system, fictional world, between others. The problem is that when someone uses this word and is presenting his self as visionary or technology promoter; in fact he is saying not much because it is a general word for describing something. It will be like someone presenting his self with a Computer 40 years ago and saying this is the future... well; the future will never come without a minimum of ethics. For Example: If you will like to build a Computer 200 years in advance. It can take to the Computer Companies 200 years; 150 Billion Dollars or/and never. Second Example: If you will like to build a Spacecraft 10 Thousand years in advance. It can take to the Space Agencies; 10000 years 5 to 10 Trillion Dollars or/and never. Why ? Because humans in groups do not behave like Humans. But something else: habbits. For Example the logic of a Country as a colective behavior is more like insects not like Humans. Same problem with those Companies and Institutions; their behavior is like collective insects not like Humans. Because they dont live 200 years nor 10 Thousand years; it is not on their logic or understanding the factor not cheating. If there is a group they are always going to cheat others claiming their collective interest. But cheating is cheating and lack of ethics. Lets hire engineers for going to the Moon, Mars or Space. But is someone there (at the Space Agencies); even thinking if those technologies are avanced ? Nope; they just took what they have and do it over and over again for decades and can continue doing so for centuries or even thousands of years. Are the problem the technologies ? Nope; but the collective behavior with the factor cheating... how are you going to build something much more advanced if everybody behaves like collective insects ? Not possible and they are destroying the future by doing this... now returning the the first topic; are Computers or the Metaverse the future ? And the answer is without a minimum of ethics nope. Because if you cheat inventors; the future will never come and you will stay doing things more or less the same wrong way for centuries... But we are using those technologies that you talked about or promoted... or that this famous science fiction autor on his books, talked about... (They may think). Maybe but this is less than 0.00000000000000001 percent of the needed knowledge and technologies... In fact; the cost of the factor cheating when people at the Companies and Institutions dont even understand the consequences of what they are doing; is much more than all the money any Human will be able to generate in his entire life... it is always much more than the entire money in the Planet; but for some reason they always add this factor (cheating) to their lives and projects. Lets digitalize the entire World in a Super Computer; oh this is so advanced... or lets use those new computers and Softwares or technologies for building better Spacecrafts and/or vehicles; this is so advanced: They may think. But it is not... If they cheat; they are destroying the future. Because it is not possible surviving in the Universe by cheating... imagine once in other Planets or advanced Spacecrafts; building jails, robbers inside the advanced Spacecrafts, well it is not possible surviving that way... or the costs will be astronomical or unpractical. Or lets delay 10 Thousand more years because we want to vote for a President (who has no idea how to build such advanced Spacecrafts but wants to steal some topics from others work, or on a website; this is how ridiculous Humans are sometimes)... For avoiding those kind of problems there are procedures; a simplified form at the websites, after the explanation by e-mail or after reading the explanation hiring instead of cheating or contradicting. Second aspect you need to explain me your budgets and with this I can give you the right alternatives... because for building very advanced technologies you need to understand the amount of money needed, how to avoid the mistakes on the Policies or lack of them (Policies), between other aspects.
