Thanks again! This one is one of your most beautiful builds. As part of my engineering education, I spent eleven weeks in a machine shop. They didn't have much work at that time, so I never got to learn to use the lathes or milling machines. I did tap a huge number of threads. That part of the video brought back memories. The worst ones to tap were small openings in these copper-beryllium pieces. If I got something the slightest bit wrong, the tap would break. I was new at tapping threads, so I made those mistakes.

I play with a meter hammer. Made mine with a huge hook. If you continue to play with yours. Practice with a tennis ball and rope first. Let’s just say a meteor hammer and rope dart in the beginning is more of a danger to you that what you’re swinging at. Love this build. What it did to that coconut was wicked as heck. Keep building fine sir.

I once made a pair of two-sided photos I used a 1 lb weight 1/2 lb each end. 150 lb test stainless steel trolling cable in the middle. It flew beautifully, bad thing is first tree I hit it sunk in about a half inch or deeper all the way around the tree. I couldn't get the cable out, just cut the weights off.

It is a Flail... not a hammer. a bit long chain, but still a Flail, and there were many fun experiments in medival times. Both Long and Short handles, and long and short chains/cords... Spiked balls, wood balls, etc etc... But they were all Flails.

@DiesInEveryFilm Customs I can not be 100% sure that the metal you use does not contain some tiny part of iron from a meteor. But i can say it is not a hammer. Long chain/cord Flails are scary to use, easy to hit yourself... I expected some flail fail. 😜
