I live in Kentucky and am now watching this video in Feb 2022 because my gas bills have been extremely high lately and my provider LG&E has been basing the bills on "Estimated Readings" rather than Actual Readings for the past 4 months and I want to read my own meter to see how accurate their Estimated Readings are. It's bad enough that natural gas prices have skyrocketed but the problem is being compounded by the utilities not doing Actual Readings. They claim they are short of meter readers.

I started reading meters for a new job . I have a paper packet and , I needed wanted to understand precisely how to read . It was very very helpful only difference is we read right to left .....

It should be read right to left. It helps because the unit before will help you predict what the next one will be

See this is where i get confused while training? I was told to read from right to left? But record left to right... I dont care on how I read it. I just want to make sure im recording it correctly? So my question before i go in and take the test is how do i record it? Left to right or right to left???

ABSOLUTELY THE WRONG WAY TO READ A METER. ABSOLUTELY MUST START AT THE FURTHEST RIGHT AND WORK YOUR WAY BACK.
