Great review, you didn't mention one of the coolest features...the app. You can download the app and actually change the EQ of the headphones to tune then to what you're listening to.

Hands down these destroy the Sony's. Sony wins in comfort but these have better sound, range, bass and clarity. Build quality is not even close either, the design is stellar

Another good and informative video yet again! However, you never did show the usual profile view or even a full torso shot of you in your chair, just a few neckline down/hands-on shots. I can't say whether or not I prefer this new style of editing since there's only this video so far but it's definitely different.

@@OfficialGamesky The build quality is just outstanding on Vmoda products. Ive had them for a couple months now and they still look brand new. No issues at all. Whats ridiculous is how the most people pay $300 for a pair of beats with shitty plastic build quality that is guaranteed to break at some point when you could get a pair of Vmoda's for under $300 right now and the build quality will last for YEARS. I wish more people knew that there are better brands out there.

Agreed. It all comes down to marketing. Beats are displayed in every store, commercials on TV, ads in magazines, worn by athletes.....most people will only buy what's being told to them is the best available without doing any research

These have a much better soundstage and believe it or not has much better bass as well. They are not as comfortable or light weight as the Beats nor do they have the battery life the Beats do. You won't be disappointed in either but if you plan on using them more out and about and on the go you will probably prefer Beats

It depends really. They both sound like completely different headphones. One is bassy and the other has a more clean sound with tighter bass response

I'm also using a new mic that I clip on my shirt and it is very noticeable and kid of distracting in the shot. Sounds much better though in my opinion

When I listen to pretty much any Hip hop song, the bass makes a crackling sound that is impossible to get rid of at any volume and makes the song impossible to listen to. I spent hours toying with the EQ and got no satisfying results. Maybe 10% of the songs got better. Any ideas?

Just wow? Nice build, but the sound is awful. Can barely use those headphones without EQ. Can barely hear the bassline in many songs because the bass is too much. Great if you like electronic music though, probably.
