@@pecaut1967 Suboxone doesn't work well for me but I missed too many days of methadone when I went to jail in the fall. I still tested pos for it but they want everybody on subs or suplicate now. The depression is getting better but I had to get my shit together. When your old enough to be half the ranges dad in jail its embarrassing. I liked the pin too & was smashing meth/fentanyl speedballs in my jugular at my worst. Having to deal with the results of years of self destruction while clear headed has been overwhelming me. I'm still facing alot of charges & alot of time for stuff I did high. Congrats on 6 years my dude!!!

I used to do drugs...gave them up in 1992, but I know what it is like to hit rock bottom!! The thing is I don't feel sorry for these kids today with their lack of "control" and addictions!! Because I did do drugs, I have a different understanding I guess, because a lot of these kids today need to learn to have some kind of dignity, and self respect!! You see even though I was doing drugs I DEMANDED that I have some control over my life, so I put priorities on KEEPING A JOB, and HAVING A PLACE TO LIVE!! I don't know why these kids today can't seem to understand that concept!! You want to get high GREAT get a job and pay for your own crap.......and don't complain about being homeless if you are too stupid to put getting high over having a place to live!! Honestly I was doing drugs.....BUT I had a full time job, a brand new car AND I maintained my own apartment!! MY BILLS CAME FIRST, and then what I had left was "party time" on!!! I guess that is too hard for these idiots to understand today!!!!

I was an IV coke user for over 25 years and I worked in a very stressful and fast pace environment as an oncology nurse manager and opened my own hospice care service through the hospital I was affiliated with. I put myself through school, raised my daughter on my own, owned a house (bought not rented), kept a clean and organized home. She never went without for anything, clothes, shoes, concerts, and vacations especially at our summer house at the beach or the cabin in upstate New York. She had a car @17, and she was involved with several extracurricular activities through the school and other venues. She had music lessons, can play guitar, violin and piano. I also put her through college at a ivy league school and she received a bachelor's degree. She started her adult life with absolutely ZERO debt, including student loans. I paid for her whole tuition. When she was getting ready to move out into her place with her fiancee, I gifted them $5,000 and bought them a new bedroom set with a queen size memory foam pillow top mattress. My family and friends were undeniably shocked and in disbelief when I went to rehab to get clean. I'm not saying that people who are in their own addictions are any different than me. I'm just saying that I was able to do everything I set myself up to do, despite my addictions. There are people today who still don't know what I was doing. I never understood when people were so effed up that they were transceant, stealing and selling themselves for the next hit. I am not judging anyone else who is in that situation. I just didn't understand it, but it was not my journey, I am very lucky to be able to say that.

I get why this is funny to some so no judgement however I have lived this and a woman losing her kids and not giving a damn? Naw. If it looks that way and she continues using or uses more its because she is covering the pain of the mess that she made by using that first time and not being able to stop because it helps you deal with life and cover pain from the start. Soon its a way of life and ur so buried in the mess u created u have no clue how to change it. Shame, guilt, poverty, sadness, immorality, lieing, cheating, stealing, body aching, mind altering, delusional lost broken worthless junkie has become her and how can she possibly change and ever be seen as anything different than all the things everyone around has labeled her. She's hopeless. And her babies are gone and it hurts so deeply that nobody could possibly understand and she has no support nobody to help her, lift her up, show compassion or love her thru it until she can see a bit of light again that gives her a glimmer of hope and let's her know that she is still cared for and is loveable and capable. Its sad. So sad. This song is creative no doubt but its just another way for others to break down the extremely large population of people lost in addiction which is an illness and a grip on us that nobody who hasn't had a drug problem could possibly understand. And it isn't anyone responsibility to do so. It is however every person responsibility to love others. To be humane to one another. Society has no idea what those words really even mean anymore. There is most definitely however, no shortage of understanding bu others what it means to treat others with hate and inhumanity. So very sad! God Bless u all and I pray that the world as a whole softens its heart and pours love empathy and compassion on EVERYONE WHO is suffering from addiction and all those whose life it touches because of the addicted individual and their choices that cause pain. Choices made by a toxic poisoned mind that needsto detox and heal. A mind that has been physically altered in the way of neurotransmitters be overloaded or burnt out. Where chemicals and hormones have been either overproduced and drown the brain or the brain and body are so destroyed that those things are no longer produced at all. So the brain is literally broken, throw in sleep deprivation and malnutrition... how do u suppose the addict is capable of make good decisions or able to function at all. The person who exists without drugs is dead. No longer exists and never will again because if they ever get sober they will be a different person before and during addiction. I know I have gone on and on but my point is.. .. this method smoking woman who lost her kids.... nothing about a story like that is comical... nothing nothing at all . But our society and culture today thinks it is. Is anyone possibly affected by what I'm saying. God I pray 🙏 Someone is. We must give others who are broken some hope. Or this world is doomed. Yeah, I hear what you are saying, and my wife has a daughter who has gone down that road, lost her kids, been to jail and prison several times trying to steal money to fuel her addiction and rehab generally is a short term fix at best. Meth addiction is truly a destroyer of lives and it's sad as hell, but then again, looking at it from the outside, the stereotypical behavior is funny as all git up.

I’m a meth addict I did lose my kids due to drugs I have been in and out of Alcoholic Anonymous since 1985 so for almost 39 years now because my oldest daughter Crystal was 3 months old when I went to my first treatment center she will be 39 years old August 8 she was born in Baton Rouge Louisiana she lives in Shreveport Louisiana she is also in Alcoholic Anonymous now I have three other children besides Crystal I live in Monroe Louisiana now I am originally from Ruston Louisiana my name is Angela Michele Beavers right now I have 44 days off of meth 😊

2 years for me and I caught it before it was a real problem. I came clean to my grown children. I made my daughter cry. I came clean to mom and dad. I was celebrating my 53 bday and me Lucifer and me had a long talk. I didn’t care enough about me at the time but it was brought to my attention that I did care that I could be an embarrassment to my children. That I loved them enough. Now I love me enough. And sure there are times I would love to Speed my ass off and deep clean the house. But I manage to not do it. Speed the drug of the goody two shoe girls.

@Win most I've known, it is what they done it for but at least they were out there trying to earn the money somehow and not stealing from others. However, once there was someone who was supposed to be a good friend. I'd been clean I at the time 10yrs. I can handle knowing people who do it as long as they are functional "very very rare" and most respectfully don't use around me knowing I'm clean. Well one night they not only stole my lawnmower but on my Nissan Altima ripped the catilyc converter off and sold for money 😒 needless to say I ended the friendship. They were too far out. It's really sad how many are sick and the Government's answer is "jail". You have a Happy Holidays and I hope all is well.

I ran hard for 23 years, and can say I never thought friends or peeps were setting me up, had drones or cops following me. Although I did try to wire a stereo in my car for about 2 1/2 days straight one time and couldn't get it to work, fell asleep in the driver's seat, woke up like 15-16 hours later. When I looked at the wiring on the stereo I noticed I never hooked up the power wire. Me and a buddy sat in that car that long, had my whole dash taken apart at one time those two days. I was always able to maintain but had some messed up shit happen alot. Some of the funnest times in my life that I can't remember...lol. been sober a little over 5 years now. Nowhere near as good as it used to be back when it was p2p and fed dope. Hahaha

Hate to hear that but it seems every we’re you go there’s 1 or more couples out here in the world like this song describes it’s a shame they won’t work and support there habit I smoked pot for over 20 years of life and most all the time had a job and if I was laid off I was working on any thing and for any body I could work for I had a neighbor one time that said they can say what they want about you but you always paid your bills might been late some times but you never go without and they can’t say you didn’t work for he said you worked for everything you got and I said yeah even if I don’t have a lot things I spent the money on to show for but there were some real good times it’s all in disabling your self and useing things for the right reason need to calm down get your thoughts together well there’s one for that need to get a weeks worth of work done in a weekends time there’s one for that and the main thing is to maintain! And I really feel for you man on your mom I just lost my dad in January 8 days before my birthday my moms still doing good we had to set her down and say hay you can’t give up cause he’s gone we got her to understand just because you have a flat tire you don’t junk the car my dad would say and then pick yourself up dust yourself off and get right back in there didn’t matter if you was trying to ride a bull that had killed a few an mamed a half dozen more ! But you stay safe like I say it’s a latter thing we start as kids then have kids then become parents and grandparents. If we’re lucky we get to listin to advice then try to teach and give advice and love and pray they come out better than us or at least almost as good it’s life and it just keeps moving on down the line be safe and be careful have as much fun as you can you only live once so live like you were dieing because we are !
