In some fisherys those tiny little bite end up being a 4kg+ carp so I always takę the risk and strike

Don’t really need to strike as 99% of the time the fish has hooked itself on the feeder.

It depends on whether it's a self-striking setup.

@@krzysztofkk6964 Never had to to strike on a method feeder as fish hook themselves as soon as they feel the weight of the method feeder and make a run. That’s why 4” hook lengths are vital.
