Method of Wudu (Hanafi fiqh): Mawlana Mustansir Attari

This video is a step by step method of Wudu, in light of Qur'an and Sunnah, according to the Hanafi Fiqh. The rulings were discussed briefly, as we intended to target beginners.
The wudu performed by Sayyiduna Uthman was in accordance to
'The wudhu of the Prophet (Salutations upon Him)' as claimed by Sayyiduna Uthman (Allah is pleased with him). The Hadith can be found in Sahih Bukhari.

Can anyone please clarify one thing for me? when washing the face the mawlana cupped water in the hands and splashed it on the face. However some books of fiqh in the hanafi madhab mention it to be makrooh and that you have to only wet your hands and gently massage the face to clean it while refraining from cupping. I usually understood it so that cupping and splashing might wet the areas around or even disturb people making wudu besides you but im not sure. Is the wudu valid if i do not cup the water like that?

No, you have you flow the water but not splash (which is makruh). To only rub the water will not qualify for washing and the wudu is invalid unless water flows across the limb and drips down.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I see you didn't receive a reply to your comment, the imamah is a sunnat of رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم And there are many blessings in wearing the imamah, for example, when praying salah whilst wearing the imamah, you get 70 times more reward than a person who prays without wearing the imamah. It is also said in some narrations that the angels wear the imamah. I could go on for a quite a while about the blessings of the imamah and all in all it is really comfortable when you get used to wearing it.

It is Waajib (essential) to have Wuzu for Tawaaf. Without it, the tawaaf is done but he is sinful. So he can't do it as it results in sin.

AssalamuAlaikum What is you said is proven via a Sahih (Authentic) Hadith While rinsing mouth & nose separately comes from a weak Hadith. But Hanafi Madhab embraced this action. There's nothing wrong InShaaAllah in following any of the way while the former one is better. & Allah knows best, may He help us.

You're right. There are at least three ahadith which appear to suggest this, so it is sunnah in the Hanbali madhhab. But to do it separately appears correct in the context of using miswak which is a great sunnah too. And Allah knows best.
