In your opinion which hem looks better? The lead weight hem or the 2 inches double hem?

Great video and very helpful! I am making light-medium weight drapes as a room divider, that needs to look good from both sides, and I also want to add a bit of weight. Looks like a good solution. Can you tell me the best way to make the vertical seams look good on the wrong side.... I am looking doing at a flat fell seam...have you a better idea?

I work in a drapery work room and I always double the side hems....about 1.5 " thick finish .... Press three inches in on sides, then using the press Mark, bring raw edge of side drapery to press three inch line and press again..the second line will be the inner fold and raw edge is tucked in nicely..to stable sheer, I pin both ends to the table and this keeps the fabric from moving around .
