@@defenderoftruth3212 it is quite complex a story discovered when the myth started to be scrutinised and well the dates, locations and other items from history just did not match the Islamic narrative. So what you have is a few hundred years to make a popular myth to tie a Arab tribe to anointed by Allah and the threat of violence if you do not believe. Not a new concept in Persia as it was standard practice to make such stories to anoint new rulers But it is the threat of violence and murder which is kind of why Islam still exists today. Would you still claim the sun set in a muddy pool if the Imam wasn't ready to name you an apostate and have the rest of the Mosque men murder you for saying it didn't? Christianity far of the Gospel stories goes is myths and inserted woo. Nobody knows who actually wrote them. Just like nobody knows who wrote edited, bastardised the plagiarised chapters in the Quran. Along with the history and sayings although we know they didn't start getting made until much later. A couple of hundred years and more. The after the Gospels letter however were from believers of this new cult. But some are fake, only written in the name of not the real person. A popular thing to do back then. And the OT has a fair bit of plagiarism within the earliest books. They were a relatively new religion when it comes to religions and had thousands of years of other god story's to copy the good tones and take them as their god story.

African apologist and theologian. He wrote much in defense of Christianity. “We define that there are two, the Father and the Son, and three with the Holy Spirit, and this number is made by the pattern of salvation . . . They are three, not in dignity, but in degree, not in substance but in form, not in power but in kind. The initial focus of the discussion focused on some interesting points that anyone would examine when reading a text such as who is speaking, who the audience is, what the intention of the speaker is, what the speech situation is, etc., etc. Semiotics is an area beyond the semantics or structure of a text but all can shed a lot of light on a text. We can learn an awful lot about the speaker and those for whom the text is aimed by the former and we can add a lot more by looking at the latter. Thinking about the Quran, one can see if the speaker is logical and informed or not. We can also judge the attitude of the speaker toward his audience. BTW, there is more than one speaker in the Quran which even the Encyclopedia of Islam of Al-Azhar itself states. We can figure out when things are written. We can look at the style in which it was written and compare it with styles at the supposed time of writing. We can look at the sentences and words in minute detail. Most of the heavy lifting has already been done. For anyone with a critical eye and a reasonable amount of knowledge, it is easy and quick to see that the Quran is beyond problematical and doesn't fit the narrative we're given. Explaining this to those without that critical eye and enough knowledge or will to judge is a lot tougher. Videos like this and the many others have been instrumental in opening eyes and transmitting knowledge that truly helps everyone understand what Islam is or isn't.

Dr. Jay makes a point but in my opinion not strong enough: a lot of academics including scholars of Islam love totalitarian ideology like Stalinism, Maoism and Islamic fundamentalism. Why? Because all of these ideologies are based on the system of Meritocracy, that is that the "best educated" should be the leaders of society and everyone else should accept their authority. In Communism you see this in the form of Plan Economy, where the leaders set up the goals of production or what ever, and the slave workers are ordered to achieve them or being punished for not achieving the goals. In Islamic Fundamentalism the idea is the same: the "scholarly" interpretation of the koran is the only acceptable one and no one is ever allowed to question this interpretation. In both cases academics have a leading role, and that is the whole point. The academics HATE DEMOCRACY AND FREE SPEECH, because they want to be in power. Years ago I had a friend, who was a declared Socialist. Then the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991. For two or three years he was almost silent. Then I received a letter that now the had joined a Palestinian Friendship Organization. My first reaction was that I was surprised, but quickly I understood why this change was so easy for him to make. If you support ONE totalitarian system, you are inclined to support ANY totalitarian system. This is also why you see all the present-day support for Hamas on universities.

But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. 1 Timothy 4:3-:5 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. *Allah of the Quran admitted that he is a great* *liar - a false god, an imposter.* Surah 7:73: To the Thamud people (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren: He said: “O my people! Worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! This she-camel of Allah is a Sign unto you: So leave her to graze in Allah’s earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment.” Surah 7:75: The leaders of the arrogant party among his people said to those who were reckoned powerless - those among them who believed: “Know ye indeed that Salih is a messenger from his Lord?” They said: “We do indeed believe in the revelation which hath been sent through him.” Surah 7:77: Then they ham-strung the she-camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: “O Salih! Bring about thy threats, if thou art an apostle (of God)!” (Yusuf Ali) As the above Qur’anic verses reveal, it was the Prophet Salih who was sent to the people of Thamud. As a result of the insolent act by the people of Thamud, Allah stated in Surah 17:59 that he will no longer send miracles to mankind after this tragic event. Even though the Qur’an does not specifically mention at which period of time the Prophet Salih was sent to the people of Thamud, we can say with certainty that it must have been before the time of Jesus Christ. Why do we say this? This is because according to Muhammad himself, no prophets were sent to mankind between the time of Jesus and Muhammad. In other words, the only prophet who was sent after Jesus was Muhammad. Sahih Muslim, Book 030, Hadith Number 5835: Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: I am most akin to Jesus Christ among the whole of mankind, and all the Prophets are of different mothers but belong to one religion and no Prophet was raised between me and Jesus. The above Hadith clearly states that “no Prophet was raised between (Muhammad) and Jesus.” Therefore, the Prophet Salih could not have been sent after the time of Jesus but before. Otherwise, it would place the Prophet Salih between Jesus and Muhammad. Hence, Allah must have stopped sending miracles long before Jesus set foot on earth. Yet, the Qur’an teaches that Jesus performed many miracles through the divine backing of Allah. It even describes some of the miracles he performed: Surah 3:49: And I (Jesus) heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life with Allah’s permission. (Shakir) How can this be possible when the Qur’an states that Allah has stopped sending miracles long before the time of Jesus? This proves that the testimony of Allah in the Qur’an claiming that he was the source behind the powerful works of Jesus is an absolute lie. By his own admission in the Qur’an, Allah could not have empowered Jesus with miracles. He simply could not be the originator of the miraculous works of Jesus. Allah lied in the Qur’an. This raises a vital question. Who then is the source behind the powerful miracles of Jesus?????

Taqiyya (also spelled taqiyah, or taqiyyah) is a form of Islamic deception. The Quran (16:106 and 3:28) allows Muslims to lie in order to protect themselves or to protect the Muslim community. Protecting the Muslim community, however, involves lying about jihad and portraying Islam as a religion of peace. From The Qur’an: Qur’an (16:106) - Establishes that there are circumstances that can “compel” a Muslim to tell a lie. Qur’an (3:28) - This verse tells Muslims not to take those outside the faith as friends, unless it is to “guard themselves.” Qur’an (9:3) - “…Allah and His Messenger are free from liability to the idolaters…” The dissolution of oaths with the pagans who remained at Mecca following its capture. They did nothing wrong, but were evicted anyway. Qur’an (40:28) - A man is introduced as a believer, but one who must “hide his faith” among those who are not believers. Qur’an (2:225) - “Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts” Qur’an (66:2) - “Allah has already ordained for you, (O men), the dissolution of your oaths” Qur’an (3:54) - “And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers.” The Arabic word used here for scheme (or plot) is makara, which literally means deceit. If Allah is deceitful toward unbelievers, then there is little basis for denying that Muslims are allowed to do the same. (See also 8:30 and 10:21) Taken collectively these verses are interpreted to mean that there are circumstances when a Muslim may be “compelled” to deceive others for a greater purpose.
