It's always a great weekend with another battle report. Played my second game today against another good friend. His first time, my second time. 2vp's against 1vp. He won. GP vs GP. 50 TV. I'm loving this game more and more every time. Thanks much for the vids.

@@Metoollhead I had purchased the War For Terra Nova 2 player set. This is what we had used. I'm thinking of sticking with the southern forces. My friend informed me he will be going with Nucoal. We have another game in 2 weeks. Not sure if my son will commit to the game system...he's a big 40K gamer. We have 2 others that we are trying to get involved.

@@Redmow51 Nice, Nucoal entering the fray can really switch up how matches are played. Speedy fellas. Anyway enjoy, and may you kid see the light of reason soon ;)

Bold decision to field 2 main battle tanks and two field pieces in a 100tv game in an urban environment, but it seemed to work out. Just goes to show that the big tanks are very nasty in HGB, even if they can't Command their way out of a wet paper bag. Having 72TV on the table without reliable CPs is pretty rough, but a Chatterbox or Black Box Iguana would have brought that up to 82-83TV (83-85 with Command upgrade) leaving nothing for the second unit, unless that unit was 4 Asps. Makes me glad I have a PRDF army, two Red Bulls leaves room for a Greyhound and 31TV to spare.

Thinking about it, 4 Asps might have done just as well, if not better against those N-kidus. Or maybe switching 'em out for a higher number of regular infantry, and then having 'em hang back... The force compo on my end definitely left some stuff to be desired - but at least the tanks came in clutch.

@@Metoollhead It's something of a meme, but you can never go wrong with Asps. It honestly might be the South's greatest asset.
