I've seen them four times in Detroit, and each time, the theater was _packed._ One time, I got there three hours before they went on, because I wanted a spot _right at the stage._ I'm old, but I'm a big guy, but when Metric came on, all these young girls came running up, and pushed me to the back. The previous time, I was smashed out of my my mind on my dealer buddy's best, and after the concert, I was in the lobby bawling out _Breathing Under Water,_ and some small, squat girl come up and asks me if I wanted to sing "Help! I'm alive!_ with her, and I agreed. To my eternal humiliation, I couldn't recall all the lyrics, and I couldn't sing the harmony, so she walked off. Thanx fior letting me cry on your shoulder.

Wow! What a song! I love how, when listening to Metrics music makes me feel, it makes me feel happy, I can feel love and joy at the same time. I love them soooo much. I was fortunate enough to have met Emily & Jimmy on the airplane & again at the airport parking lot later that same day after our flight, on our way to Mexico City, in November 2023, where they performed Formentera ll tour. They are sooo very cool, nice and awesome folks, a class act in my opinion. Their Mexico City show was outstanding. I hope to see them again soon.
