im 12 years old, listening to this song wondering whats gonna be my future. i'm scared my future is gonna be bad, and i have trouble just being myself because im so used to being different personalities for other people, but all i know now is that im gonna have to make my future and not let others make it for me. this song really has a meaning for me and it makes me feel so accepted. bless you all

I hope your parents are watching like a responsible parent would. If not, then someone should be watching you!! Oddly, most will twist my words, as perverse, when I speak as a mindful adult, looking for the well-being of a minor!

Read. Nothing will give you better understanding of those around you. As you understand others, you will know where you stand among others. You will never be below them, because you will know them, better than they know themselves. It is ok to be weak at times. That is all.

It hurts to turn the radio on Stamina's gone My spirit is weak Because every time I start to move on Keep hearing that song I'm brought to my knees To permanently see in reverse Take the remorse out of defeat Because everything that's under my skin Where I end and begin Still belongs to me I'm fine to sit and stare at the door Can't run anymore Too weary to stand Abandon the effect with the cause My life is on pause It's out of my hands To perfectly perform in reverse There's no way to rehearse There's nothing to plan Because everything that's under my skin Where I end and begin That's who I am Oh, only silence can restore The sense of place I had before Oh, only silence can repair My sense of self I lost somewhere Oh oh, oh, only silence can restore The sense of place I had before Oh, only silence can repair My sense of self I lost somewhere Because the last time I let myself feel this way It was a long, long time ago And now we get so scared, and we get so scared To be nowhere left alone Because the last time you let yourself feel this way It was a long, long time ago And now we get so scared, and we get so scared To be nowhere left alone Because it's now or never now It's now or never now, now, now Because it's now or never now It's now or never now, now, now Because it's now or never now It's now or never now, now, now Because it's now or never now It's now or never now, now, now, now, now, now, now

The song is absolutely beautiful and clearly something that she's been going through for a very long time as you can see it in her eyes and her face her skin her hair everything. Hey metric people - does anyone have any suggestions Id like to find downloadable live versions of metric songs. and burn to disk. anyone have some?? I love the unplugged versions so much more than the album cuts.
@clothearednincompoop6 жыл бұрын
There are many on KZbin and there are ways to download them and extract just the audio. There are some websites that do it, I believe or the more elaborate way is to find a way to download the video (there are e.g. web browser plugins) and then extract just the audio yourself. Or you may find some official releases on Spotify and iTunes. And to not feel like a bad person, you can actually purchase the "Plug in, plug out" acoustic EP from ilovemetricstore dot com with some real money.

not to be that guy, but why aren't they bigger? their synth/pop is better than most of whats on top 40 statiosn by a wide margin? and its not like they are so esoterically "indie" that nobody gets them. their stuff is catchy, accessible, and enjoyable. its just weird they aren't bigger.
