This song has /sex appeal/. Jame's vocals with the bass and drum tracks in the back are just hypnotic. And Emily's voice is just soft and sultry, yet piercing, as always. Love it~

It would be so awesome if they played this to open their shows. I spoke with Jimmy and I told him I really loved the lifestyle and he lit up when I mentioned this, they were apparently thinking of it too. I love his vocals and those few chords just blow me away like so many of their songs. love that fat basss!

How could you calmly say you’ve spoken to jimmy himself

@@Stayingoldfrfr he was hanging on next to the bus lighting up his last few cigarettes. Was chatting with a few of us and let us know Emily was coming out soon. We went to skeleton show. He’s a really cool person very down to earth. Someone tried to bum a cigarette but he was out and started talking about Canadian cigarettes. I was super nervous taking to Emily. I talked about Metric instead of Choir of the Mind. Very chill peeps!

@@Stayingoldfrfr we were hanging out after a choir of the mind show in SF. Jimmy was the first to come out hanging near the bus and smoking. A few of us approached him and just started chatting. Very cool person very chill. He told us Emily would be coming out soon. Someone tried to bum a cigarette from him but he just ran out. He started talking about Canadian cigarettes. Very down to earth people! I was nervous talking to Emily and talked about the lifestyle and White Gold instead of Choir. She said maybe in late Vegas days and we told her we’ll be there! She signed my What is Free to a good home. She mentioned oh wow I don’t even have this one! Love them to bits!!! 🖤🔥

I never truly appreciated this song til I heard it in succession with others from this ep waking up in the middle of the night in my friends house with one ear bud in.

This song plays between Edmonds and Metrotown! This is how far the album goes! (Look at Butcher’s comments for context!)

Was there an actual crowd for this song or did they add it in? Lucky crowd if so.

Any idea when this was recorded? I've been listening to Metric since Fantasies came out and went back from there but have been finding so much recently.

That's okay man. You love people differently and my way clashes with yours. Agree to disagree.
@ac1dP1nk12 жыл бұрын
Ultimately not. What you ask for is double think or suspension of disbelief; unless I become indifferent towards a viewpoint can i then discard my own reasoned opinion, but that is a form of dismissal. No, I argue my point that such thoughts are a terrible weakness that is both destructive and distracting. But such absolutist talk is also not applicable if I don't seek to condemn, which I don't. And yet I can neither commend my own position for all nor accept yours as such either. An impasse...

of all of the lame ass dubstep in the world today, it's recomforting that out there, someone else listens to metric, and i will marry her.
@ac1dP1nk12 жыл бұрын
that doesnt make sense. I meant your romanticism and sentimentality.
@Sumphikt12 жыл бұрын
Although I completely comprehend you point of view and how you wish not to stray from your personal values, I do not wish to start a comment war. For one, I used agree to disagree in an attempt to stop this. Secondly, I am not one to fight at the drop of a hat, so I resign myself from this argument without further due. Lastly, the reason for which I diverged your "pussy" comment to my "genitalia" example was that I didn't want this argument to continue. This is just a song after all isn't it?
