A Metro Detroit woman, Alecia, heroically intervened when a man attempted to abduct her 7-year-old niece. Alecia, on rollerblades, chased the man and fought to free the girl as he tried to stuff her into his car.

The boy risked his own life to save his cousin by sitting in front of the car. He could have been killed, but thankfully he only has minor injuries. Edit: Something else they neglected to say was the boy also got his leg run over. And the black truck you see stop in front of the kidnapper's car. Is an off duty patrol officer, that got out of his truck and pulled the guy out of his car and held him down until the police came. The news needs to do a little better when doing a news report. The more information the better. Then we won't have to search all over KZbin for the other missing pieces of the story.

love this woman. I don’t have children but I’m a proud aunt of 5 and 2 years ago I had to run into a burning building to save my oldest nephew. Just because we didn’t give birth to these babies, it doesn’t mean that these aren’t our babies. The fire started while I was in the bathroom. The house next door to our apartment building caught fire and the fire spread to our building and units. I’m so very thankful I was home.

This is not typically how human trafficking happens in America despite what right wing fear mongering media wants you to think. I just watched a news clip yesterday out if Texas where a guy stalked a little girl walking to school and a few blocks over, later in the day a man tried to pull a little boy into his truck ... The lady said he was speaking in broken English... where is this guy from? He also try kidnapping a 15-year-old as well so this guy should get at least 25 years in prison. The Court System needs to keep us safe from criminals like this.

Ethically his family came from SW Poland originally- but could easily be from Galicia in W Ukraine mor recently. The name and locales are very distinct there, and only variants used outside this are wildly ethnically not a match to his facial features which scream Eastern European to me.

That little girl has superheroes for family. Absolutely incredible. Little cousin sat in front of a running car to save her. Unbelievable. Her aunt ran in rollerblades and dove through the open window and fought the guy. With people looking after her like that, I hope she repays them and leads a noble, and holy life.
