My only complaint is that having a "realistic" game where you die in 2 shots is very frustrating on a 2d screen. Something like this would honestly be better in VR as you can properly take cover and shoot around corners without sticking your head out. For the time being, I'm still pissed about the amount of times I have peaked around a corner to aim just to be insta killed by an npc with aimbot.
@IsThatDonnieDiddle2 жыл бұрын
@@wingsoficarus1139 lol I can see how that could get annoying but for me personally I'm a massive fan of the STALKER series and that games notorious for killing you in 2 bullets being ambushed by mutants and man not to mention instant kill anomalies I think this adds to the game because it makes you think about encounters and scenarios you have to take consideration of what you have at your disposal and if it's enough to win a fight or if it's better to avoid it

The realization that my actions killed Duke in my first playthrough was the best moment from any Metro game so far. Discovering D6, fighting a horde of Nazis, finishing my stealthy playthrough of Last Light, nothing compares. It was the first (and so far only) time in a game I'd been shocked by the twist of my actions killing an important character. Duke is an incredible character. Involved in the later stages of the story especially, but while fighting off the fucking fish worshippers he proves himself useful and likeable. It probably helps I played Metro 2035 so I already knew his character, but it had been a long time and I kinda forgot about him until after his death. That genuine guilt I felt surprised me. I wish they'd give us another Metro game, I know that is impossible without anymore books, but we need a good apocalyptic world setting game as this.

Why do you think it's impossible without new books? Glukhovsky worked tightly with 4A Games and co-wrote story for the games which is different than in books (though largely compatible and complements them, e.g. 2034 which is about Hunter), so they could write a story without a book. Anyway, there are other problems for future development of series - studio is Ukrainian (among other obvious implications, one of the lead animators died defending Ukraine from Russian invasion) and Glukhovsky had problems in Russia due to pro-Ukrainian position for which he was forced to flee the country.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that another one is on the way, and it’s set in 2028 in the Moscow metro, following a doctor trying to save his wife. The bad news is, it’s for VR only,

This is really funny. I'm a huge fallout fan, just bought a new pc. Just played the enhanced edition and loved this game so much. There's so back backstory and lore its great.

Thank you for reminding me how absolutely unsettling the New Vegas ambient music is.
