Dubbing never any culture i need subtitles and hear their language thats what makes it authentic and as czechoslovak russian is slavic like ours so i can understand most

I know the english, german and russian audio and they all are fantastic. The diary Note from the beginning of the last lvl for exanple is perfect translated for all languages, of course russian is the most authentic.in the german Version artjom sounds a bit older Very good translation and overall quality

Just beat the game in ranger hardcore mode for my first playthrough of the game which I'm quite proud of to say the least :) However I got the ending where they sacrifice themselves for the sake of the metro by blowing up D6. I tried very hard to get the good ending, did as many good deeds as I could possibly find from the big stuff like saving the bear boss from the watchmen to the little things like donating military grade ammunition to a starving hobo. I spared the traitorous asshole Pavel's life and I still didn't get the good ending so that's why I came to watch it here. I have to say I actually like my ending better than this one though. It feels more real to me and not like a perfect happy ending. The Metro is a dark world full of suffering and bittersweet victories scattered amidst many and more tragedies and failures. If I were writing this story I think I'd have this brave protagonist and his compatriots perform the ultimate sacrifice for the good of humanity as well. It's an optimistic yet grey ending. Punishment is exacted, sins are paid for in blood but the possibility for redemption is left as a future possibility. I adore these games, they are certainly amazing works worthy of recognition. The universe is so lively, interesting and deep. Anyhow now that this series is concluded for me I am off to the zone to become a STALKER! Shadow of Chernobyl is where I'm headed fellow rangers! Perhaps I will see some of you there.

I know this is late but what really mattered the most for moral points was Letsnitsky. If you kill him you go down the bad route, spare him and you have a chance of getting good route depending what you do. If you killed him, no chance for a good ending. I dont know about Pavel but I think he is the same way

@@eelshocker5099 Absolutely incorrect. Killing Lesnitsky only deduces one moral point. You simply haven't been picking up enough points elsewhere, there are plenty of them.

Killing the soldiers from the reich/red army and bandits during missions has an effect for bad moral points. Also you have to pay attention what the people of the metro are talking also soldiers and what they are doing. An example if you listen a soldier he has a weapon of a ranger it gives you two moral points one for listening and the second for following him to his weapon case wich he mentioned. I know it's way to late, but just pointing it out. You just have to keep human killing ratio very low then you have a pretty high chance of a good ending. All from above my comment are right

This game is so much better with Russian Voice, even though i don't understand much of Russia, it's still feel better with Russian Voice and English Subtitles :D

In Metro 2033 we see hundreds of tanks and military vehicles at D6 and Miller told Artyom that with all the equipment they'll take back the surface. Why didn't they use the tanks to defend D6?

That is a good point. The only explanation I have is that they were not prepared and/or it's very hard to deploy them. Possible, could work with added explanations, but yeah.

The only answer I can think of is fuel. Obviously they have fuel but I don't think they have nearly enough to use the tanks, and you have to remember they have no means of refining their own oil.

Tragic as hell. In my opinion, Uhlman has good jokes but he makes them in a bad time, where a lighten mood can become a weakness. Miller, well, may be cold and serious, but he has his times when he cracks a joke.

broooo i thought i did all the good deeds i could manage; sparing surrendering people, sparing lesnitsky, donating bullets etc, but i still got the other ending. the only "bad" thing i did do to my knowledge is drink at venice for the achievement. i really dislike the other ending and wish i had gotten this one :(((

The russian dubbing is better in most scenes, except for Miller and the little Dark One. I thought the English voice for him was bad, but the Russian one sounds even worse unfortunately.
