Metro-North Railroad Automated Station Information (ASI) Announcements (Electric Territory Only)

After a few weeks of periodic recording at Grand Central Terminal, culminating in a trip to Stamford and New Canaan, here is the Metro-North edition of ASI recordings, heard on all M7A and M8 EMU trains. Enjoy =)

@@FanRailer You can try merging the “As you leave the train” part of the LIRR announcement and the “please watch the gap between the train and the platform” part of the Metro-North announcement together and then put a little delay in between both of those segments.

@@FanRailer Next time you are in Chicago, you should try to record the Metra announcements. They are played about 2 minutes from departure, and are more common on off-peak or weekend trains.
