As long as it's crispy and well seasoned, I don't care if it's not Cebu lechon.It's the company of friends & family that counts sharing this delicacy.

Cebu lechon from Car - car has its own unique taste! Can not be compared to western influenced lechon.

Of course,we cannot compare using local herbs & spices from Cebu to make a Western lechon but it can be acceptable as a copycat version with the available ingredients we have in the US Lemongrass & other herbs can be used as subtitute.

That's not "some olive oil." That's at least one full cup! LOL! BTW, you showed how to prep the pork belly, but you didn't say what temperature and for how long it takes to cook it in the oven!!!
