This remix really makes the fact that Dread's OST is extremely similar to Fusion stand out despite what people like to claim due to the new instrumentation making it reminiscent of Dread (lots of people like to claim it isn't "Metroid-like" when it is, pardon me). Anyhow not to derail, amazing remix as usual Pete! Always love what you do with the percusssion! Which is important to the Prime style

As someone who has been loving being up at night and sleeping during the day for the past nearly three years now, getting work done, it's been a thing of mine to go around to any deal of game that has night music and play that all night - and Fusion was a favorite of mine. One of the best if not the best soundtrack in the game, and in the Metroid series in general in my opinion. This music was the perfect match to a dark environment filled with danger and traps around every corner. With the SA-X constantly hunting down a weak Samus (the first time she enters the area) this was the theme that really made me feel anxious. Peak atmosphere. Great job on giving a new life to this amazing theme in such an effective way! And great work with all the other stuff as well!

I'm pretty sure this is my first time discovering a remix of this song, the tension and dread in this song is tight! Especially when you are going through it without Varia and those ice X coming after you...this remix perfectly captures that and adds a great stealth feeling which I never knew this song needed but it fits so well.
