Not much for hacks, but this honestly had me in LMAO stitches almost the entire time. The strange perversion between Sonic and Metroid is perfect, w "groovier" features, maybe if Jazz Jackrabbit were pure Metrroidvania by Nintendo for GBA.... Brilliant. Love music choice btw, didn't figure how well worked, pity the quality loss (Direct Sound sucked, huh... memories of Rockman & Forte downgrade). Actually wouldn't mind playing myself even though I've already spoiled for myself. Only thing that could possibly make better, imo: seeing entire game played by Zero Suit Sam in Juicy Pants. (Dunno why that occurred to me, lol, had to get that out there.)
