Wow. This song wouldn't sound out of place in Symphony of the Night. Fitting, given that the game was what gave rise to the affectionate name of the sub-genre "MetroidVania".

I've been listening to this video pretty much since you've released it. I just wanted to say this is better than ANY version ive heard of this song. What you do and how you play it is so smooth and emotional and impactful in every best way possible. I highly doubt anyone or anything could top this version of the song. You have an amazing version of kraids lair right here. When you look at other people doing video game covers they like to improvise a bit to show their expertise with their instruments, but most of them sometimes go out of their way to make a cover that loses the feeling the original composer wants to portray of that song. You my friend did both. You managed to keep the feeling the composer had intended plus your added your little spin on it. I have to say it's amazing what you did here and I keep coming back to the video based on how good it is. Hats off, kudos, and good luck in future covers cuz I'll be watching them :)

You know what? I think this should have been Ridley's Lair's theme. Or just Ridley's Leitmotive. Considering that he's the main antagonist and he has so much relevance both to the plot and to Samus' character, I think he deserves more this beautiful and haunting song than some random fat dinossaur who comes the shit out of nowhere. It really fits Ridley better.
