This song is called "Korobeiniki" and it's a Russian folk song.

Or the song that this is based off of is. Although, this interpretation of the tetris theme brings it closer to Korobeiniki

Koji Kondo got inspired of Korobeiniki, but Tetris A theme is not the same as Korobeiniki. Tetris is written in an another scale, nad it has a different style.

Well I learned the basic tune by ear, then improvised for a while until I came up with some variations that I liked. Then I organized them with some transitions, and then recorded it!
