Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Music- Dark Samus Battle

For the people who are confused as to how Dark Samus came to be, her original form (YES, It's a she, try scanning MP3 Space Pirate Lore off of their homeworld.) is Metroid Prime. Now, as we know from MP3 Phaaze was sending leviathans to crash into planets with meteor-like behavior, infect the planet with phazon and inside each leviathan was a guardian, yes? In Metroid prime, the "Impact Crater" is a leviathan, and Metroid Prime is it's guardian. However instead of dying, it absorbs Samus' Phazon Suit. (This helps, because in MP3 after you are given the PED suit, you are able to stand in phazon and be healed by it. However if used to harm you, it still can. Thus the Phazon suit which was made of Phazon and used to help, not harm Samus would have healed Metroid Prime of it's damages, AND given it DNA to mutate with. Hence why the Leviathan guardian, Dark Samus appears to hold her form. This makes sense with other leviathans because in Bryyo, it may have obtained a part/DNA of Bryyo's Golems. Same applies for the Machine from skytown, as well as Ridley on the Pirate Homeworld.) For further proof that Metroid Prime is just a leviathan, I suggest you replay the Phaaze part of MP3, and closely look at ALL your surroundings. You will find husks of other Metroid Primes.

They refer to it as a she because they initially thought that it was one and the same as Samus. Dark Samus' gender is unknown. Sone say it has none but I'd argue that as metroid's lay eggs that they do have genders. DS was originally a Metroid so it would have a gender too but Metroid Prime's gender is also unknown.

metroids have a queen usually, like a hive. they are also considered asexual as they do not require mating to reproduce. metroids and therefore technicly dark samus have no gender.

@@Kitava_the_Insatiable Metroid Prime being termed a female is entirely a result of her absorbing the Phazon Suit as well as Samus' DNA at the end of Prime 1. The Metroid's being has changed pretty much entirely. If the games refer to her as she, that's what I'll do.

Heather Smith Pretty sure her more armored look was due to the fact she’s more complete/less unstable. Prime 2, she needs to: Constantly absorb Phazon Looks slightly deformed/skeletal Has a range of dangerous random attacks In Prime 3 she’s more complete to the point she can orchestrate seed attacks on planets, turn the ENTIRETY OF THE PIRATE HOMEWORLD into extensions of her will and attacks in a more organized, orderly method. Maybe the light suit look was just cuz it’s the last thing she saw before she disintegrated? Idk.

I think I liked the first part of the battle against Dark Samus the most since it was fast paced and fitting for what you would expect from a final showdown, second and third battle though was pretty standard with my only difficulty being to finish off that auora 313 before my hyper mode bar overloaded, other then that I think those two phases could have been done a lot better in comparison to the first part of the fight.

@Phyrion Aurum Pretty sure one of her final boss moveset ended up being her *Final Smash.* Also, I doubt her Assist Trophy moveset would make for a very good actual moveset. That kind of rapid fire attack is part of what got Bayonetta nerfed so badly, and those energy spheres should go without saying. That's not to mention all the non-special attacks that would likely just end up being Samus' anyway.

Play through the game on Hypermode and you will not be thinking any bosses are shitty. The last one took me 3 tries. The second time I lost I had forgotten that there WAS a third stage, and when he whooped my ass in a couple seconds I was crying "Too many stages... too many stages..."

That was kind of a casual non announcment interview, Miaymoto just said that if someone is gonna do the next metroid, they're certainly in the running. Nothing further. On top of that, Retro is focusing on Donkey Kong, and that just got pushed back to 2014. Even if they get it out on time, they couldn't make a whole new metroid before the year was up, unless it was a small scale 3DS sidescroller perhaps

to clear things up, this IS the last metroid PRIME game, but im pretty sure there will be another metroid game in general, you can find a hint of this while scanning certain data thingys on the space pirate world and it will say " our lattest project, metroid dread, is int he final stages of development" or something near that, hope that helped a little

Samus' suits are deeply integrated with her, therefore have her DNA and act like a Second skin. When Prime stole the Phazon suit it also took some of her DNA. The first Scan in echoes confirms this.

Considering that Metroids were pretty common enemies on Phaze it is probably not impossible it had an indignous population of Metroids, maybe even before the planet became the center of Phazon. A Phazon corrupted queen flung of in a Phazon meteor, a Leviathan as of MP3, could easily have been Metroid Prime. Would also explain how Dark Samus found her way there. That she knew about it all along.

@Shadowstar385 hardest feat on the Prime trilogy. Make sure you use Advanced view setting. It really helps. If you can aim well, turn lock on/free aim on. You can hit her while she's moving. USE THE MISSLES. Don't use the charge function. Just Missles and rapid fire. keep your distance, and dont jump too much. For the second one, DASH LIKE CRAZY other than that, there is ome luck involved.
