Rules for NO HIT are as follows:
1. Direct damage from enemy to your HP bar counts as a hit
2. Enemy grab counts as a hit even if it doesn't do damage
3. Staggers from enemies also count as a hit including AoE
4. Staggers from your own equipment DON'T count as a hit
5. Static or Dynamic Environmental damage doesn't count as a hit
6. Self hit or damage doesn't count as a hit including fall damage
7. Dead enemies that forces an animation on the player don't count as a hit
8. Dynamic Traps count as a hit but Static Traps don't
9. Physically Blocking counts as a hit
10. Deflect, Reflect, Counters or Parries doesn't count as a hit and are allowed, if it requires blocking first then is not allowed
11. Enemy hitting your barrier (meaning a shield that is not in contact with the player) doesn't count as a hit
12. Unavoidable CC or Damage by dev design (Scripted hits) wont count as a hit even if avoidable by unintended means
13. Hits on mini games don't count as a hit
14. Death counts as a hit unless scripted
15. Player deployable traps don't count as a hit.
16. Quit outs are forbidden when in combat
(you are in combat if you're attacking an enemy or the enemy is noticed you and/or is aggroed)
17. Soft cc doesn't count as a hit
18. An effect that procs on you wont count as a hit unless it cause hard cc or loss of health
19. AI partner's that take damage or Hard CC are immune from these rules and does not invalidate your run unless you fail the mission or get a game over
20. Positive engagements with the enemy doesn't count as a hit (like getting healed, etc.)
21. 100% Resistant to damage still counts as a hit (subject to change)
22. No Dodge chances are allowed
23. Dynamic Game Condition is a hit while static is not
24. Hyper armor with invincibility doesn't count as a hit
25. Desperation attack from the enemy after being killed will count as a hit be it damage or CC
26. Spawning or resetting enemies due to a save and quit, bonfire mechanic or similar feature does not invalidate a run and is not considered a loss of progress as long as the objective or progression is not reverted
27. The game reverting your progress to the start of an objective or a level due to a failed game condition is considered death therefore a hit
