My god I'm so, so glad this came back. Lower Brinstar is one of my all time favorite pieces of the franchise. I loved the original, the Prime 2 remix and now this. This sounds more like the Prime 2 one, more aquatic and atmospheric, but it's so gorgeous and amazing. I'm in love with the soundtrack already and it isn't even out yet. Finally, Samus is back! 2 More days to go! Hype! :D

The Torvus Bog theme slaps insanely hard, but I really, REALLY love the chorus they added into this one.

This is was a calming yet unnerving track in Super due to how early you hear it at first since you don't even have the Varia Suit, yet you're still making your way through anyway you can with the goal of saving The Baby Metroid In this game however, it signifies a short break between all the killing while you're going through Area 5 letting you process your journey thus far while going around collecting things so you can hear more of this In Dread, it's Quiet Robe's theme since it's there everytime he helps Samus, even when he's infected by the X My take away: I watched the Quiet Robe cutscenes too much and spent too long in Area 5 & Red Brinstar just to hear this music since it's my favorite track in the entire franchise, doesn't matter the version.

I’m gonna be the contrarian here and say I wish there had been more original tracks to give SR388 its own identity. This and Ridley’s Lair from Super feel like callbacks for the sake of it instead of themes that enhance this atmosphere. We’re not on Zebes. We’re in a place even more dangerous where Metroids have been allowed to grow unchecked.
