A nice little bit of continuity between this game and Super Metroid I didn't realize until watching is Samus making the cave opening leading into Crateria at 10:02, which is the very first place you go in Super.

Yep! You can get them early with the morphball shinespark to the room left of where you first fight the charge beam boss and get missiles.

​@@walker4322But Other M traces the origin of Ridley's corpse in Fusion and also explains where the federation got it from, which also serves the lore a bit. Anyway why shouldn't Zero Mission and Samus Returns be canon sorry? They just have simple changes that don't really affect the lore. Zero Mission explains where Samus got the new Power Suit from and Samus Returns shows you that Ridley is able to regenerate (which you wouldn't know if you hadn't read the canon comics) and so gives an explanation of how in Super Metroid it isn't still partly Meta

@lucadeidda5044 never said samus returns or zero mission were not cannon. The / meant they are remakes. And eh. Other m in all honesty can be forgotten and the timeline still makes sense. Fusion explains somewhat what happened to Adam, ridley corpse being retrieved by the federation really didn't need much explanation, it's a corpse. Idk I just hate other m lol, I'd have less issues if it was played with a traditional controller and set earlier in the timeline (her ridley ptsd would of made MUCH more sense then as well as her willingness to take orders)

@@walker4322 Yes Other M is all a bit shit, but it still explains a couple of things. Even though Adam's death is really shit, as is his character and the fact that he shoots Samus just to put her in a weak position and make himself look like the cool male who saves the day.

@lucadeidda5044 100% I don't hate the idea of Adam in general, I think fusion did it very well (I mean heck fusion is my profile pic) But other m just fell flat on the execution. Just like you brought up, shooting her was DUMB (Especially that 1 shot disabled her suit) Not to mention the small and round comment *shudder* "Becoming small and round was something I did so much it became natural, but doing it while Adam was watching, that made it more thrilling" (or something reaaaaaly close to that)
