Westworld has alot of similarities to the Ghost in the Shell philosophy as well as the construction scenes. When the newest episode premiered, and I saw Maeve emerging from the white industrial liquid like Motoko, I knew I had to make this.

The influences go in this order - Metropolis (1927) > Westworld (1973) > Futureworld (1976) > Bladerunner (1982) > Terminator (1984) > Ghost in the Shell (1989/1995) > Ghost in the Shell: Innocence (2004) > Westworld (2016), it came full circle.

"Not a theme park... An entire world." - Ford. The concept of Westworld is obviously absurd in and of itself.
