Metrolink In the City of Perris, Light Rail Power Up At SCRM 4K

After the extreme heat in Southern California, we decided to head to SCRM (Southern California Railway Museum) to visit since the quarantine. Before that, we recorded Metrolink 753 arriving and departing Downtown Perris Station. At the museum, UP 942 was in service for the weekend. Also, crews were powering up the LRVs (light rail vehicles) including the P865 #144. Since the P865 was powered up, we recorded the bell, horn, and the inside of the car. A major change on the P865 was that the quacker was replace with the E-Gong, but still needs some work. As always, sorry for the shakiness. Enjoy.

Interesting to see a single chime Nathan P4 bell under the P865. I didn't know they had those, nor did I know they had mechanical gong bells. Very cool indeed! Great vid

Very interesting indeed. It was used when the Blue Line opened but soon changed to an electronic horn not long after. The mechanical gong was used until the P865 retired.
