The Light Rail in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA 2022 - Trax

TRAX has 50 stations on three lines. The Blue Line provides service from Downtown Salt Lake City to Draper. The Red Line provides service from the University of Utah to the Daybreak Community of South Jordan. The Green Line provides service from Salt Lake City International Airport to West Valley City.

When I visited the area I thought Trax was a pretty nice system, with the caveat that much of Salt Lake City isn't built for pedestrians which makes using public transit a challenge. At some intersections you're expected to pick up these red flags and wave them around in order to make it "safe" to cross the street! I was dumbfounded -- even wondered if I was being pranked.

For sure, Bus Rapid Transit and Battery Powered Buses will stay but we should bring back the Streetcar and Trolleybus as well as integrate a Light Rail and a Monorail into Chicago

They Run Four car trains and on their website they say they run one car trains too. I have never seen Them run One car trains through videos on KZbin

Lightrail, in that it runs at higher speed, especially when it transitions to actual Commercial Rail tracks (which are used for freight over night). THere is on small spur off the main line around 2100 south area, single track lower speed about 5 stops, takes you over into one of the city's more developed historic neighborhoods: Sugarhouse. Usese same Siemens model, but with a different silver livery.. There are less than 10 car with that scheme.

Wonder what the event was that day. You ran into a couple 4-car S70 Blue Line consists. The S70s don't normally run on the Blue Line and the Blue Line doesn't regularly run four cars unless there is an event.

LDS COnference, or Arts festival, etc. THe red line which runs the street level Siemens model, will routinely have 4 during morning and after/evening rush hours due to the huge concentration of people up at the University and the 3 medical Centers. Also for Football and basketball games.

I’m confused about why you didn’t show any of the downtown stops like Gallivan Center, City Center, Library. Those are much more interesting density-wise than some of the more suburban stops you showed.
