What if West Ruislip on the Central Line and Chiltern Main Line got replaced with some kind of interchange station with Central Line and Chiltern Railways platforms on the upper level and Piccadilly and Metropolitan Line platforms on the lower level to create some sort of big interchange station. It would improve connectivity between Harrow and the Chiltern Main Line as well as give Central Line and Chiltern Main Line a direct connection to both Uxbridge and Harrow and as well improve connectivity to Wembley Stadium, which is located on the Chiltern Main Line. It could be called something like ”Ruislip Interchange”.

Fascinating view and such a shame that Hillingdon station looks totally out of place with all the other stations between Uxbridge and Rayners lane and looks so shabby as well now.

IIRC Ruislip Manor is a made up name (like Northwood Hills and Queensbury) and was named as such as the result of a competition.
