Usually low scoring games aren’t too exciting, this was the most exciting game of the season! What stood out to me was ottovino in a setup role coming in clutch AF! Great pitching throughout, great defense and two of the best teams in baseball bringing out the best in each other. Nimmo’s grab was a sensational one.

Although I liked the DeGrom vs Nola matchup slighty more, its really because of my pitching bias. This was just an all around really good game and it was tense the entire time.

Wow Mookie Betts has 32 homeruns and they’ve got him hitting lead off. To me it would make sense to have Trea Turner batting lead off. Then again what do I know the Dodgers have the best record in baseball, but when Mookie hits a home run with no one on base and they lose by one run, it makes you wonder doesn’t it. Anyway LFGM!!!

Mookies mentally a leadoff hitter. He doesn't thrive as well in the 2 hole or batting 3rd. Earlier in the year when roberts with still tinkering with the line ups, Betts, turner, and freeman had a talk with roberts, they all agreed it should be betts turner and freeman in that order. Does make you wonder though.

No doubt, great win. But, the mets are not hitting well much less scoring runs. They definitely need to probably move their lineup a little and be more patient at the plate. Lindor and Alonzo need to pick up the pace, this team is struggling right now. Pitching is awesome to this point, but for how long.

When you don't score runs or produce offensively for your best pitchers in the rotation you leave them with virtually no room for error or mistakes essentially dumping the majority of the pressure in their lap... yeah it's all part of the game but deGrom & Scherzer are only human & can for the most part weather the storm but aren't perfect.... this lineup better wake up & get their act together start putting up some runs & they better do it quick.... OUTSTANDING PLAY BY NIMMO!!!!!! LGM!!!!!!!

Thats pretty sad that the mets beat the dodgers by 1 and the dodgers werent even playing at 100 percent against degrom i would be worried as a mets fan because degrom is the only pitcher that can beat the dodgers they have. dont bet on shurzer because the dodgers always give him a spanking anyways. Plus the dodgers dont habe kershaw or goslin and buhler and the dodgers are still able to put up zeros even though they gave up that homerun smh. Mets should be worried they are playing against a team that isnt 100 percent and still.only wom by 1.
