The Braves trailed the Mets for half the season and won the World Series. LA , SF, and others aren't just going to roll over. So be cautious!

If deGrom, Scherzer, Bassist, and Mc Gill stay healthy, it is going to be a problem for a lot of teams! if deGrom and Scherzer pitch under a 2.0 Era and Bassit, Carrasco, and Mc Gill under a 2.5!!!, Bro, it's over! they can easily get 110 plus dubs this year. I think we need a really good 8th inning reliever and a Strong RBI Machine that can DH or play 1st base. also, we need to start substituting Álvarez in the late innings for some firepower because the catching department is W.A.F. batting, you might as well swing the bat from the bench.

It really was incredible that the Mets came back to win this game... but it still doesn't hide the fact that the Mets bullpen desperately needs to be restructured. I cringe every time Buck has to bring in middle relief help. May and Loup are just awful. If you look at all the Mets losses so far this year it is due to the bullpen.

The Mets need to trade for a reliable relief pitcher. This bullpen ain't gonna carry them through the season unless all their starters go at least 7 Innings every game. Even if Degrom comes back and can still pitch he will only be good for 5 or 6. Unlike Scherzer he's fragile. Is there such a thing as long relievers anymore?
